If music be the food of love, play on - Shakespear I'm honest, loving, creative, friendly and independent with a great sense of humor. I am someone who will truly listen when you talk and value communication as an integral part of a relationship. I have an affinity for creative people and enjoy watching the creative process unfold. I love to travel either for real or through the pages of a book or the music of a song. I write poetry and love to sing. I'm happiest when I'm outdoors, but I enjoy it mostly for the feelings it evokes within me. Music is my passion (The Who, The Alarm, U2, Celtic, to name but a few), but I also enjoy ice-skating, traveling, photography, art, exploring a city, gardening, home improvement, swimming, biking, walking, tennis, literature, British history and culture, and Lake Winnipesaukee, where I live. I would be willing to be more adventurous with the right person by my side! I am an Anglophile and have spent a lot of time in Britain. I love art, literature and history. I spend most of my time with my 16 year old daughter and treasure those moments. We moved from Philadelphia to New Hampshire in 2005 and we love it, but I am a city girl at heart. Trips to Boston, Portland or Portsmouth are regular occurrences. I am someone who has experienced life's emotional hardships, including the loss of my son almost 13 years ago, and I understand the importance of appreciating each day that we re given. The term "soulmate" is so overused, but the sentiment is universally understood. It's definitely what I have always been searching for. I'm looking for someone who is creative, affectionate, genuine, responsible, emotional supportive, honest, comfortable with who he is, with a good sense of humor, and respects the hearts and minds of children. He must be passionate about life, learning and following his heart and have an appreciation or affinity to the arts.
