I'm quirky, arty and funny and mad about music - although unfortunately possessing no talent in that area myself. I love going to gigs and festivals and have been doing so since I was in my teens (Stonehenge and Glastonbury '79 were my first - god I'm old)! I prefer Leeds and Reading to the more hippy/dippy ones, though wish they were smaller with less queing and chavs! I have quite varied taste in music but it tends to be mainly of the rock/indy variety. I'm not going to write an enormous list, but to give you an idea - mark Lanegan,Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, QOTSA, Henry Rollins, b*tth*le Surfers, Pavement, Captain Beefheart, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, the Subways, Helmet, all your standard grunge fare (you know - Nirvana, Mudhoney etc), Massive Attack, Tricky, the Pixies, the Ramones, the Cramps - ok I'm boring myself now, so I'll stop! I'm looking for that special someone but also for new friends to extend my social circle, so if you have similar tastes and would maybe like to go to gigs with me or just chat drop me a line.
