Heavy metal, 80's metaL, cool modern jazz (non-r&b), 20th century music )12-tone - schoerenberg), Bartok, disco sometimes if I get nostalgic, 70's rock, 60's, pretty much anything except lame pop music, disney bands, top 40, rap and r & b or country. I do like bluegrass and the greatful dead, though,which some people would classify as country. I tried those bands with the screaming verse and the pretty vocal chorus, but it's not usually my cup of tea, though I like some of it. Big Ozzie fan (old Ozzie), Black Sabbath, Traffic, Jethro tull, Grand Funk, Iron Maiden, Megadeath, Saxon, Electric Light Orchestra, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charlie Mingus, Thelonious Monk, (the late) Max Roach, local KDVS (Davis, CA college station), KYDS (high school station in Sacarmento, CA), classic rock, sitar, techno, experimental computer music, etc., etc. Not a fan of air supply, Barry Manilow, Britney Spears, 50 cent, 80's lameness (Laura Branagan, Tears for Fears) or Garth Brooks.
