I've always been massively into music and making it. I've been playing guitar since I was little, and I play drums in a band, for which I write the music too. I also do lots of computer-based stuff, and am very much a follower of computer music technology (my job is also in this area).I'm into a fair range of styles. I like most types of heavy metal, except modern mainstream stuff. My favourites are 80s heavy metal and 90s death metal. Outside of that, I like rock, punk, ska, jazz, lots of dance genres (DnB, dubstep, hardcore, gabber, 90s dance/eurodance, etc), and probably a load more stuff. Oh yeah, I've been into chip music and tracker music for a long time too… Well, since the 80s, when it was just called "game music" or whatever
My other main thing is reading and writing - mainly the latter these days, and mostly factual stuff (with a few funnies thrown in). I love going to gigs, and dancing is always fun too. I like playing word games and am currently recovering from a mild Scrabble addiction. I don't watch TV and haven't owned one for years, although I'm not anti-telly or anything.
I like cooking and baking, but more as a fun thing to do with a friend than a serious pursuit. Lately I've been making milkshakes
Personality-wise, I'd say I am honest, caring, considerate and patient, and while I don't have loads of close friends, the ones I do have are really great ones. My sense of humour might be best described as dry, but I also enjoy/employ groan-worthy puns/wordplay and other such nonsense, if you can tolerate it
