Music is the shorthand of emotion -Leo Tolstoy there is no way to sum up my connection to music in a brief paragraph. Or even a larger paragraph... My parents sang to me and played recorded music to me when I was in the womb. My favorite thing is singing along to the radio in harmony.

I grew up on 50's and 60's music, and pride myself on being able to "name that tune" after hearing just the very first notes; a split-second's-worth of the opening music. I used to listen to my family's vinyl albums and cassette tapes. The, as CD's emerged and we could finally afford it, we invested in a 5-disc CD changer in the hopes that a new technology would be worth it, as CD's were more expensive than cassettes. I had just missed the 8-track age by *thaaat* much.

I love me some karaoke and my voice is well suited to folk tunes, some 50's and 60's and particularly jazzy tunes. It would be lovely to share the stage with someone and create a new sound.
