The most memorable performances I witnessed were the Czech Philharmonic doing Dvorak's 8th (now renumbered the 4th, I believe) during their American tour after the fall of the Soviet Union, and Andre Watts doing the Rachmaninoff PC # 2 with the Cincinnati Symphony for the season opener of 2008.
