On the Country Side of Hevan Where the Bluegrass.... I used to be into it heavier than I am today...Mountian, Old Timey, and Bluegrass. I started picking the 5string in 1965. I believe that was the year before Carter Stanley passed away. I grew up and for many years lived in Grand Prairie, TX, in Dallas county. This is loosely called "north central Texas". There came a time when I pretty much knew or had heard of just about everbody in the music there and they knew or had heard of me too.
