Being outdoors is where I recharge and find those rare euphoric moments that energize the rest of my life. In that sense, I live to backpack and ski and do so as much as possible, but I also enjoy working up a sweat on my bike or finding a day-long escape on a hiking trail somewhere pretty.

But I'm also a geek, and intellectual connection is important to me. Nothing is better than philosophizing whilst stargazing! I tend to enjoy socio-political musings, but I am thrilled with anything that gets the brain and heart moving and lets me appreciate a smart, thoughtful and compassionate mind (yours).

I am very deliberate, intentional and ethical, and have made some slightly difficult and unusual choices that have led me down a different but rewarding path in life. While I don't seek to judge or be judged, I think it's important to note that being open-minded is not nearly as trivial as it is to write in one's profile. Some judgement also has a certain place in life.

I am vegan, am passionate about music of most any genre (and have performed as well), am quiet/shy on the outside, seek sun unless it's snowing and consider my life a work in progress (I hope it always is). I seek someone with whom to share backpacking trips, gruelling hikes, powder days, long, deep conversations and cuddles in front of stimulating movies.
