I was formally a classically trained soprano but took up woodwinds when that no longer paned out. I started out on clarinet but quickly took up bassoon and went on to free lans. While in music school, my day job was Concert Manager for, mostly classical, music. I soon took over my boss' job as Production Manager and Instrument Curator. I presented an average of about 250 performances per year. I'm now retired with an outstanding sound system, and one dance subscription - dance is my second passion after music - as well as subscriptions to two orchestras. I'm currently living with a hand-tamed, and very demanding, feral cat. Please note: Under "Personality" I checked "conservative." That was a mistake. I am far from being conservative.
