Does Your Music Date You????

And I don't mean "dinner and a movie: kind of "date". What I mean is, how many of you find that the music that you listen to most, and love the most, is music from your teenage years?

I know my favorite musice tends to be stuff from the 70's and early 80's when I was a teenager and young adult. Stuff like KISS, Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper....and on and on into the eighties with the New Wave and Big Hair bands from the early 80's.

So, if I was to tell a complete stranger the favorite bands and songs I listen to, they could probably guess when I grew up. Is this the same for others here?
