Hello there

If you're a smart cookie, you'll have been born with a sibling at least seven years older

I gorged on my sister's record collection - 1970s prog rock, jazz fusion, reggae and endless Joni Mitchell (swoon...)

I'd save my wages (I've had jobs since I was an eight-year-old newspaper boy) and spend it all on music. I get lost in music, like Chic

I found John Peel and Gilles Peterson and became an addict

I also got addicted to electronic dance and ambient, Baroque and chamber music, dub, Puerto Rican and Cuban ritmo, Bulgarian women's choirs, ABBA, etc

I'm interested in learning about other people's musical history

Take care and have fun out there

Simon
